Introducing the new branding designs for the proposed Auckland Pride Centre.
The iconic Pride rainbow has been extended into a concentric circle, symbolising the interconnectedness and diversity within the vibrant rainbow community. At the heart of this symbolic design sits the Pride Centre, serving as a beacon of support, empowerment, and celebration for individuals of all identities and orientations.
As a part of my studies, I was afforded the opportunity to work with real world clients. For me this was working with the excellent Auckland Pride group, where I was tasked with pitching an exciting new branding design to promote the upcoming Auckland Pride Centre. The goal was to give backers a vision to get excited about, and introduce a visual concept for the centre. Through 3 months of correspondence, we were able to settle on a design that was modern, welcoming and inclusive.
